  1. Batch Payments with no Receive date

When paying off batches with no Date Received in the Batch Handler, this causes eClaims to use the last Close Date in the system as the Date Received. What this means is, if users you don’t set accounting close dates, the batches that are paid off may have a date very far in the past i.e. 01/02/1998 as its payment date, therefore tampering with accounting reports. We have enhanced the prevention this with a message advising that no Date Received has been set, and prompt the user to enter either the correct date normally displayed on exception reports or by entering a more realistic date as the Date Received.

  3. Error Message “There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive A:” when accessing Comms Centre.

For users that have experienced the above error message when accessing the Comms Centre, this has now been fixed and prevented from displaying. In previous versions, eClaims would scan the floppy drive when entering the Comms Centre, and if there was no disk detected in the drive that error message would appear. Although it had no affect on eClaims it was perceived as an inconvenience.
