eClaims® Updates

Below are listed the latest update changes in this release:

Referring Doctor Selection List - Job Control (Radiology & Pathology Edition)
Within the Job Control we have enhanced the Referring Doctor selection list to only display doctors that as active in the system.
Previously all doctors were displayed making it difficult to select the correct referring doctor if there were multiple entries of that same doctor. This eliminates this problem allowing referring doctor management and selection easier.

eReports - PIT Files (Radiology Edition)
For users using the eReports System (Electronic Transmission of Patient Reports) in eClaims we have fixed an issue with the word wrapping of the text content in the files.
Medical Director was importing files and dissecting words within the report and dropping them to the next line causing the report to loose its continuity, making it difficult to read.
Medical Director now handles the PIT files correctly.

Adding New Referrals (Specialist Edition)
Some users experience difficulties in adding new referrals to a Patient Record when there are numerous referrals listed in the drop down menu.
Currently the New Referral option sits at the bottom of the list and to speed up the process in getting to that option we have enabled a hot-key to auto select it.
Press 0 (zero) and then the Enter key.

Proxy Settings - System Setup
eClaims now has the ability to handle Internet connections that pass through Proxy Servers. In previous versions only Online Claiming within eClaims had Proxy compatibility, but now we have extended that to our Auto Updates module, eReports module and FTP Backup module.

Business Data - Doctors List
In the Business Data under the Maintenance Menu we have now added a Tick Box that when ticked (default) displays only the Active Doctors in the system. Un-ticking the box will display All Doctors that are in the system whether they are active or not.

eClaims Backups
In this latest release of eClaims we have made significant changes to the Backup System.
Users now have the ability to set a network location as the destination of the backups. Users can also set up the backups to be uploaded to an FTP site.

Voided Transactions - Day Sheet
For locations that share their database with sister practices in a Terminal Services environment who have Areas set up in eClaims there was a bug when printing the Voided Transactions report from the Day Sheet. The report wouldn�t generate when printing for a selected Area, but would print when All Areas is selected.
This issue has been resolved, and the Voided Transactions report now prints for selected Areas.
