  3. Messaging System

In this version we have revamped the eClaims Messaging System.
We have renamed the old "Notepad" to "Messenger".
We have also renamed some buttons so they follow a more conventional naming structure similar to those of email applications. "In Files" has been renamed to "In Box". "Out Files" has been renamed to "Out Box". "Save" has been renamed to "Send".
Finally we have added a Reply button allowing users to reply to active messages they have received.

  5. Next of Kin Details

Within the Patient Record a “Next of Kin” tab has been added replacing the “Relation” tab where the “Health Fund” and “Bill To” is located.
This allows the entry an extra contact for the patient.

  6. Scheduler Link to Job Control (Radiology Edition)

In this version of eClaims we have made enhancement to the Link between the Scheduler and Job Control.
If a patient is entered into the Scheduler as an appointment the patient is no longer transferred across to the Job Control unless the patient is marked as “In”. This will limit patients that do not attend their appointment not to clog the Job Control.
If a patient is a walk in patient, as the patient is physically at the practice and marked as “In” then the patient does transfer to the Job Control.
If an appointment is “Un-Ined” in the Job Control it places a line across the name, similar affect if zapping, as a visual. But if “Ined” again the line is removed.
