Modification to Bulk Bill Assignment Advice
In conjunction with Medicare Online 6.10, the Bulk Bill Assignment Advice (DB4) now shows the invoice number (BillRef). The Invoice number is referred to as the ACRF, which is short for Account Reference. Go Top

Medicare Online 6.10
ACSS is happy to announce Medicare Online 6.10 is now available through eClaims. What does this mean to eClaims users : You now have up to 2 years to lodge your batches to Medicare instead of 6 months. Go Top

Modification to Lodgement Advice
With Medicare's approval the lodgement statement about where the Medicare rebate would be sent to has been modified. The lodgement advice use to say the Medicare rebate would be sent to the 'above address' when the patient address was actually to the left. It now says the Medicare rebate will be sent to the 'claimant address'. Go Top

Workers Comp Billing
When billing a workers comp claim, the screen where you select the Insurance and/or Employer company has been widened. This allows staff to select the correct company with more ease. Go Top

eClaims Radiology/Pathology - Status button
The Status button from within the Job Control screen has been modified to not only let you change the status of the exam (report) but now you can also reset the bill status of the job. You will need to delete the incorrect invoice first, once the invoice has been removed, staff can now reset the bill flag back to 'Items' so that the job can be re-billed from the Job Control screen. eClaims Radiology - Scheduler/Job Control Link
When entering a patient in the Scheduler, if you have eClaims Radiology edition you can now right click the patient from the scheduler and it will take you to the Job Control. This will allow you staff to toggle between both areas much quicker. Go Top

A new Hot Key as been assigned for the Dictation feature. The new Hot Key is 'D' for Dictation. Go Top

'Referral To' many
Traditionally a referral to a Dr is specific to that Dr, which is why the RefTo field in the Patient Screen was set to the specific doctor. You can now allow a referral to be valid to many doctors in the practice, by changing the 'RefTo' field to 9999 (Site Referral). This feature generally only needed in a Hospital environment. Go Top

Editing Referral Details in Patient Screen
Traditionally if a wrong referring doctor has been entered, a new referral would have to be made to fix the selection of the incorrect doctor. Now when in edit mode, you can change the referring doctor by double clicking on the words 'Ref Date', then by double clicking the words "Referral Details". Go Top

Appointment Status from Patient Screen
When viewing a patients appointments from the Patient Screen, you will now be able to tell if the appointment was cancelled or if the patient did not attend. You will notice a 'C' for Cancelled and 'N' for Did Not Attend. Go Top

Referral Analysis Report
This summary version of this report has been modified to show the referring doctors address. This has been changed because if the report shows 3 Dr Smith's, there is now way of identifying which Dr Smith those statistics are for. Go Top

Appointment Flag - Did Not Attend
From within the new scheduler mode, you can now mark patients appointments as 'Did Not Attend'. You can do this by right clicking the patients appointment and selecting 'Did Not Attend'. Go Top
