  1. DVA Billing

    When billing an item 10990/10991 patients that are under the age of 16 or are a health care card holder are entitled to the MedicarePlus Incentive.
    Previously eClaims was not notifying the user of this. At the time of entering the items a message "This Patient may qualify for MedicarePlus Incentive" will appear, which is the same message when billing a Medicare patient under the same conditions.

  2. Report Centre

    A 'Report Centre' facility has been implemented into eClaims Specialist edition which allows the creation of reports/exams which can then be sent electronically to the respective referring doctors at their location to be downloaded via 'eReports'.
    Your eClaims Specialist license must be enabled for eReports to be able to use the 'Reports Centre', call us to activate this feature.

  3. MBS Fees

    The 1st of May 2009 MBS additions and ammendments has been incorporated into eClaims.

  4. Doctor Data screen

    Applying a standard consultation item for a Doctor's setup within the Doctor Data screen now allows for pediatrist consultation items to be added.

  5. Transfer Patient Data

    The 'Transfer Patient Data' settings in eClaims which creates a file used for transferring patient demographics to a third party application eg. Medical Director, has been improved to allow a secondary location for creating another patients.in file, such as when using 2 Medical Director databases.

  6. SMS - Credits

    A higher amount of SMS blocks is now available when ordering additional SMS credits which includes 2500 and 5000 blocks of SMS's, both includes bonus credits as well.

  7. SMS - 'Dummy' appointments

    SMS messages can now be sent to patients that have been entered into the Scheduler as a 'Dummy' appointment.
    To do this, enter the patients 'Lastname, Firstname' and mobile number in the Instructions field.
