Relocate a deposit or payment to another episode
You will now have the ability to move a deposit from one episode to another . Useful when a patient is admitted today and paid their excess, however ends up rescheduling for another day. You can now create the new episode and reallocate the deposit. Go Top

Choose if you want highest banding items re-ordered when Billing
When creating a Per Diem bill, SimDay would traditionally re-order the item numbers based on highest banding. However there are occasions when based on the reason for the procedure, the re-ordering isn’t required. So there is now a tick box which you simply untick if you do not require the re-ordering. This will not create extra work if you do not need this feature. Go Top

When billing a patient, you will now be able to see (not edit) the episode notes (from the Patient History screen). Go Top

Invoice name changed for under 18 yr olds
When billing invoices addressed to the patient (i.e. Uninsured), if the patient is under 18 years of age, the invoice will be addressed to the contributor. When billing an under 18 year old in a health fund the invoice will remain addressed to the health fund. Go Top

When entering the procedure items into the Discharge Screen, you will now have the choice to either leave items in the order entered or for SimDay to re-order based on highest banding. Select Surgeon's name on Fee Estimate
When producing a quote, you can now select a surgeon so that it can be displayed on the quote, should you want it. If you would like the surgeon's name displayed on your quotes please contact ACSS for assistance. Go Top

Same Day Basic Fee now available as well as Same Day Basic Fee Threshold
Within the Health Fund Fees setup window, you will now have the ability to set Same Day Basic fees along with its very own Threshold date. This has been changed since the government sets the Basic Rate and it changes on a different date to that of your standard contract with the health fund. Go Top

Default Country of Birth and/or Language fields in Patient Screen
We have now added 'Country of Birth' and 'Language' to the default screen. This means when creating new patients you can default the country of birth and language, should you choose to. Go Top

Preferred Name / Alias field in Patient Screen
Within the patient screen, you will now be able to save the patient's preferred name or alias. If you would like the name shown on labels or theatre lists please contact ACSS for assistance. Go Top

New option in 'Billing Status Report', 'not sent to Thelma'
The Biling Status Report can now be run to show which invoices have not yet been submitted to Thelma. Go Top

The Arrears Report has been enhanced so that you can run the report based on a certain fund or even a surgeon. Go Top

Print 'Doctor List Report' button relocated
When viewing the list of Doctors in SimDay from the Maintenance Menu > Doctor Data, you can now print the doctor's listed from the selection window. Go Top

'Doctor List Report' printout in Category
When printing the 'Doctor List Report', it will now list the surgeons alphabetically separately from the anaesthetists. Go Top
