  1. Grouper Hot Key

    When in the Coding section, either the Diagnosis or Procedure screens, you can now press F9, to automatically run the Grouper.

  2. Remove coding information

    You can now remove the coding information i.e. diagnosis, procedure and grouper information.
    If you have entered in the coding (diagnosis and procedure) data incorrectly and want to remove it, all you need to do is delete the data values.
    To remove the Grouper data, simply click on the 'clear grouper' button.

  3. Contributor - 'Copy Pat' details button

    When in the patient screen and you use the 'Copy Pat' button it would copy the patients details into the contributor section.
    However if the patient had a mailing address, it would copy the actual address and not the mailing address. So now, when you use that button, if the patient has a mailing address, it will copy that address into the contributor section.

  4. Monthly Patient Activity report

    This report has been modified, the D/O (Day Only) statistics were traditionally calculated from the patients category.
    However it has been made aware that often staff enter this incorrectly and hence produces incorrect end of month statistics.
    So now this report will calculate its Day Only statistics based on Admission and Discharge dates.

  5. QLD statistics for Data Extraction

    QLD health now wants extra information supplied to them which every data extraction you submit.
    SimDay will display this information on the existing QLD data extract report, at the bottom.

  6. Length of Stay Report

    The 'Total' length of stay section of this report has been modified to cater not just for day facilities but for overnight facilities too.

  7. DRG Analysis Report

    SimDay now has the ability to run a DRG analysis report. This report will allow you to identify which patients are associated to a certain DRG.
    This report can be found in 'More Reports'.

  8. Inter Hospital Contracted Patient field added to the Hospital Claim form

    On the second part of the hospital claim form, SimDay was not automatically filling in the 'Inter Hospital Contracted Patient' field. This has been modified so that it will now be filled in automatically.
