Below are listed the latest update changes in this release:

1. New Casebase Prefix

   When billing an episode using the Casebase method, a prefix of "Episodic Case Payment" will be added before the description of the Casebase.
   
   This has been added so that health funds can easily distinguish the Casebase account from a PerDiem account.

2. Billing - Master Fund

   In the billing screen, the linked fund (master fund) will be shown along side the patient's fund.
   This will help the user identify which rates are being used for billing purposes.

3. Billing Warning

   When billing a Workers Comp claim, if the Employer and Insurance details have not been entered, a message will immediately pop up alerting the user of this.
   This message previously came up after the billing items had been entered.

4. Data extraction now available for up to 3 years

   All data extraction functions can now be resubmitted for up to 3 years. Previously it was restricted to up 2 years.

5. Compensable Status in Discharge Screen

   To minimise QLD Health data errors, when discharging the patient if the episode is linked to Worker's Compensation the 'Compensable Status' will now be set to empty.
   Prior to this update, this was automatically set to 'None of the above' and if staff forgot to change this, QLD Health would report back an error.
   Now this field is set to blank for the above conditions, prompting the user to select the correct option at discharge.

6. Same Day Accommodation - Minimum Benefits

   A separate screen has been added to enter in the Same Day accommodation Minimum Benefits (Basic Rebate) instead of having to enter these details for each fund over and over again.
   To access this screen simply go to the:
   Maintenance Menu
   System Param
   Click on the 'Minimum Benefit' button
   From there enter in data relevant to your state, the commencement date has been preset to 01/07/2009 as that's the most current date.
   
   You will also notice that in the Fund Fees in the Same Day accommodation section, the 'B.Rebate' columns have been removed.

7. Invoice Data Export tool

   A new export tool has been added to SimDay, which allows users to export either all transaction data, or a subset such as accommodation, payments etc to excel for a given doctor or fund.
   The data is based on the accounting period date.
   This tool can be accessed by going to the Reports menu, More Reports and then page 2.
